Ten Copies

IIf I had ten copies of myself to use for one day and have them do anything I wanted they would be spread all over the place.  One of them would go to school for me, do all my homework and things I have to do around the house.  Six of my copies would go to 6 different countries that I want to visit, those countries are: Spain, Brazil, Norway, Britian, Australia, and Thailand.  The copies would spend the day in those countries and see and do so much as they could.  One of the remaining three copies would be doing the dangerous adrenaline junkie thing called sky diving.  The second to last copy would be deep in the sea diving.  The final copy would be the lazy side of me and just spend all day playing video games.  All the things that I would have my ten copies do are things I want to experience and since their memories become my memories at the end of the day then I would have experienced them.

Escape Island

Escaping for a few days to an island with everything that I want would be fantastic.  On that island there would be some mountains and nice beautiful beaches that resemble Hawaii.  However, the weather would be a lot like Arizona, dry heat.  I would have everything that I enjoy on that island.  Including, bicycle riding trails, hiking trails through the mountains, an indoor basketball court, and the main attraction on the island would be a theater where singers and performers come and perform.  In that theater I would also be able to watch any movie I wanted no matter how old or new it was.  I would not be alone on that island there would be a central town or village.  There would be little stands throughout the town that sell food and a variety of different items.  I would have my own place on the outskirts where I would sleep.  Coming to that island for only a few days might be difficult thing to do because I feel like I would want to spend a lot of time on it.

 

New Phone Policy

The old and now newly enforced policy of no phones I find very unnecessary.  I usually do not use my phone a lot, however, the policy is obnoxious.  First off, I do not understand the no phones in the hallway rule.  I see no problem with students using their cell phones in between classes.  There is no threat of injury we are not hurting anybody and we are not in a classroom environment.  Secondly, the bathroom policy is absolutely irrelevant and unnecessary.  Why is that a problem?  The bathroom is a private place.  It is illegal to put cameras in the bathroom for that very reason, so I find it unlikely that the students that do use phones in the bathroom will stop because of the new policy.  I do understand the no phones in the classroom unless used for school purposes, however, the other two components of the policy I do not understand.  We are on a college campus and we are always told to behave like college students, but we deserve to be treated as such as well.  I doubt that the newly enforced policy will completely stop cell phone usage.  I know that my opinion on this subject may not change anything but I needed to express it.

Magical Smartphone

If I purchased a magical smartphone there are some apps that I feel should already be on the phone, since it is a magical smartphone there are a lot of app possibilities.  There are two apps that I think that should come mandatory.  One app is an app that allows you to make food appear out of thin air whenever you please.  The way it would work is I would describe the food I want and take a picture of the place I would like the food the appear and boom I have food.  The second and final app that I think should come mandatory is a teleportation app.  This app would allow me to transport myself or a group to any destination in the world; to any city, state, country or continent.  Personally, the teleportation app would be my favorite and most used.  

My Resturant

If I opened my own restaurant the name would be Thank God It's Not Monday; it would be closed on Mondays.  Thank God It's Not Monday would have a variety of dishes, however, the main ingredient in the dishes would be chicken.  The special dish on the menu would be called Stacks on Stacks.  First thing on the plate is a waffle followed by a boneless chicken breast covered on barbecue sauce followed by another waffle.  Next, there would be diced chicken strips mixed in with Mac n Cheese topped with a waffle slice.  Now i would add a splash of Asian food on there which would be chicken and rice with cooked veggies and smothered in soy sauce again topped with a waffle.  Next part of the dish is chicken and gravy between two waffles. The final component of Stacks on Stacks is lots and lots of syrup so that a pond forms on the bottom of the plate.  

Comforting Things

Whenever I have a stressful day or I just need to relax there are a few ways I do so.  The first thing that comforts me is music, especially music from my favorite artists.  The melodies and vocals are really soothing and calming, which is perfect for relaxing.  Some of those artists include Fifth Harmony, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande.  Another thing that comforts me is playing basketball.  Basketball is my favorite sport and I really enjoy playing.  It is sort of a mindless activity to just shoot around so it lets me think and enjoy the fresh air.  Going for a bike ride while listening to music also is comforting.  There are some biking trails down the road from my house that go through the woods and around a pond.  Finally, the last thing that comforts me is watching YouTube.  I don't know, but for some reason YouTube comforts me.  I usually laugh and enjoy what I watch so it makes my day a little better.

Wait What? ALIENS!

I have just discovered evidence which is 100 percent accurate that states everyone is an alien.  With this newly inquired information my day tomorrow should be interesting.  Knowing everyone besides me is an alien obviously makes me worried and has induced fear.  However, as far as I know they are still oblivious to the fact that I know.  With that being said I am going to try and act as normal as possible.  It is going to be difficult to wake up and act like I would on any other day knowing my parents and friends are aliens.  All this time they have been aliens and I have never even sensed it or suspected it.  Why would I suspect it?  They have always taken care of me and never harmed me in anyway.  All I can do for now is act normal and find out how I got here on this planet with a bunch of aliens.    

Grossest Food....YUCK

The grossest drink or food I have ever consumed would have to be Tilapia.  If one has never had the displeasure of tasting this horrendous fish then they should count themselves lucky!  I feel as if it is my obligation to inform people of the taste that will fill their mouths when they taste tilapia.  First, take a freshly caught fish straight out of the ocean on put it in a pan.  Do not prepare the fish in anyway just leave it the way that it was caught.  Next, go to the restroom and fill a cup full of toilet water.  Then go and add the toilet water in to the pan alongside the fish. Finally, add salt to the already salty fish and saute that bad boy.  However, do not saute till fully cooked make sure it is under cooked slightly.  When all of the previous steps have been accomplished take a bite and that is what Tilapia tastes like.

The Viking: Jarl Damian

If I had the choice to be either a Roman, Spartan, Knight, or Viking I would chose a Viking.  The reason for me choosing the viking is the vikings' culture is pretty interesting.  The vikings homeland is one of my favorite parts of the world.  Their homeland consists of Europe some parts of Russia, the North Atlantic Islands and as far as the northern-eastern coast of North America.  My life as a viking would be luxurious and magnificent.  Of course I would be born into a wealthy and important family, raised as royalty.  The vikings social structure has three social classes: Thralls being the lowest class consisting mostly of slaves, the Karls or everyday free men, and finally my class the Jarls who are the wealthy class.  The Jarls own massive estates with huge longhouses, horses and many thralls.  The thralls take care of all the petty daily chores that us Jarls can not be bothered with.  During the day Jarls participate in administration, politics, hunting and sports.  Some of the sports vikings engage in are swimming, mountain climbing and in the winter time skiing and ice skating are common.  The festivals that are thrown from time to time or on special occasions are fantastic gatherings.  Filled with music, storytelling, skaldic poetry and alcohol.  So my life as a Jarl in peaceful times is great, but in times of war it is also splendid.  Fighting for the pride and betterment of my country and people with a horde of the most brutal and fearless men is an honor.  I believe I would enjoy my life as a viking.    

Were he had disappeared.....

She was sure this was where he had disappeared, as it was the last place she saw him.  They had been playing tag in the foggy forest surrounding their house.  She searches the woods they were playing in.  However she finds no trace of her beloved brother.  She circles back to the opening where he had vanished.  When she returns she notices a manhole which previously was not there.  She investigates the opening.  When she looks into the manhole she sees a ladder, but nothing else and hears nothing.   She suspects that her brother is down there.  She climbs down the slightly slim-coated ladder into the dark, dank hole.  She carefully steps off the ladder into shallow cold water.  As her eyes adjust to the darkness she slowly senses her surroundings.  She can make out the shape of a grand tunnel extending in front of and behind the ladder.  After a moment, she walks away from the ladder further into the tunnel using the wall as a guide.  As she walks she hears a distant low whimpering, whether it was her brothers or not she did not know.                     

Gardening during Success Lab

During success lab Wednesday I helped out the LCCC Child Center by picking weeds in their gardens.  I had a lot of fun.  Being able to get out of success lab and go outside and enjoy the fresh air was nice.  It was nice being able to help out with the horrible load that is picking out weeds.  I know how tedious and how unpleasant it can be.  So helping and and making it easier and quicker was a great feeling.  Also being out there with my friends and talking and laughing made the work fun and seem much faster than it otherwise might of.  One downside was there was not enough gloves for everyone to have a pair, so I ended up using my hands.  Which was not enjoyable when I picked the prickly weeds out.  However all in all it was an enjoyable experience and I received extra credit which is always a plus.

What business would I start?

If I started my own business my business would be a record store.  The name of my record store would be Smell the Vinyl.  Big record stores are not as common as they used to be say in the 1970's and 1980's.  Me opening my record store would help make a difference in that sad statement.  Music is universal and is in everyone's life in some fashion.  People have so many different tastes in genres.  To accommodate that Smell the Vinyl would have a wide variety of genres.  This is a good representation of my musical taste.  I like a range of genres such as rock & roll, country, pop, hip-hop, rap, urban, rhythmic, blues, indie, EDM, alternative, and R&B.  My store would include all of those genres and more.  Smell the Vinyl would also include the different era's all the way from the 40's to the 2000's.  Opening a record store as my business would be amazing as I really enjoy listening, discovering, and jamming out to music.

What am I evangelical about?

I am evangelical about Fifth Harmony and sports.  Fifth Harmony is my favorite musical artist, and they are the nicest people I have ever met.  I've met them 4 times and each time I can tell you that I did not at all display equanimity.  They always try to promote positivity, and strong messages about the current issues in society.  I always promote them wherever I go.  For example when I stay at a hotel right before I check out I always leave a note saying something along these lines "Thank you for the room and also download Fifth Harmony's new single on iTunes you won't regret it.  Thanks again!"  I talk about them all the time as some of my friends may tell you.  I am also evangelical about sports.  I'm an avid sports fan of any sport, baseball, basketball, hockey, football, and soccer.  I just like to watch and learn more about sports.  The players, stats and more about the sport rules or history.  My favorite sports teams are the New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Browns.

#1 Rule: DO NOT INVITE YOURSELF ALONG

One rule I think everyone should follow is do not invite yourself along.  Inviting yourself along is one of the most annoying things you could do in my opinion.  If I'm going somewhere and I didn't invite you that most likely means I didn't want you to come.  So don't ask if you can come because I will tell you a straight up no.  Someone who invite themselves get on my nerves really quickly.  I have a friend who invites himself along almost every time I go somewhere and I can't stand it.  So whenever someone is going somewhere and you weren't invited just remember to not invite yourself along, because they probably did it for a reason.  They may want to just go with other people this time.
